Pray First

Prayer is our first response.

We believe prayer is powerful and that God hears every request. If there's something on your heart, we would be honored to pray with you. Share your prayer request below and our team will be praying for you.

Our Foundation

This house was built on prayer

In June 2023, Pastors Derek and Nikki Dale, along with a group of close friends and prayer partners, came together to pray, worship, and seek God's direction for Brighthouse Church. During this powerful time of prayer, they asked for God's favor and guidance to move mightily within the Athens and Oconee communities. It was in this season of focused prayer and worship that God birthed the vision for Brighthouse Church.

Because our church was founded in prayer, we have always made it a priority to keep prayer at the center of everything we do. From that first gathering in June 2023 until now, we continue to honor this commitment through regular times of prayer, trusting that it is through prayer that God shapes our church and empowers us to impact our community. Brighthouse spends 21 days every January and August in 21 Days of Prayer, and it is one of the most important things we do as a church.
